Hi All we won’t be able to get into the ICE room until 12 as M96MC are in there.
From 12 onwards if we are all in ready to help show the undergrad students how to edit their still and moving image footage in FCPX. I will be in the room as well and ready to assist.
As part of this terms work will be, after the trip to Scotland, putting an exhibition on of our film work it would be useful to learn a little about interactive live performance software. This is software that allows input from external devices like a microphone or video camera or pressure sensor.
One of the pieces of software that allow us to do this and that we have on the computers in ICE is called Isadora. It is fairly simple to use and has been developed by a New York Performer called Mark Coniglio.
